Good question. Last time i visited my parents my dad was letting them grow (along the edges of the yard) when he would cut the grass. I thought they planted some new kind of flower along the edges at first--it brought their yard to life actually.
prob because they grow too profusely.. anything that gives too much of itself isnt valuable enough.. :))
but yeah.. gossamer like, they are quite enchanting, and are too, flowers. and to a little child they provide endless moments of entertainment.. more so than any other flowers.
